After almost 20 years in the high tech industry, Chef Heather decided to follow her passion for all things culinary and made her dreams come true by graduating Magna Cum Laude from The International Culinary School at the Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale, Florida.  She then went on to further her chef education with the Culinary Business Academy of the USPCA in Rio Rancho, New Mexico.  Using her extensive business management background coupled with her passion for gourmet cooking, she started My Secret Chef to provide exceptional cuisine to clients who wish to entertain and dine in the comfort of their own home.  Chef Heather is an avid traveler and has experienced many types of international cuisines and added many types of cooking styles into her repertoire, -- Italian, Polynesian, Asian, Mediterranean, Mexican to name a few.  Nutrition and healthy eating are very important to Chef Heather. All menus are custom designed to suit each client’s culinary preferences, dietary restrictions or medical needs.

Chef Heather is a Certified Culinarian with the American Culinary Federation (ACF) and a Premier Member of the United States Personal Chef Association (USPCA).  She is also ServSafe Certified and fully licensed and insured.
